The Theta house at Purdue University is located just off campus at 607 N. Russell Street, West Lafayette, IN.
Theta at Purdue University was the first sorority allowed on campus and was chartered in 1915 when members of a local Lafayette social group, Phi Lamda Psi petitioned Kappa Alpha Theta for a charter. At the time, there were 2,240 students on campus, 215 of which were women.

The Alpha Chi Chapter Educational Chapter is a 501c3 which accepts donations to fund scholarships and educational upgrades to the chapter house. Thanks for your support of the Ed Foundation!
Yes! There are several boards which govern the Alpha Chi Chapter. The Facility Corporation runs the 25,000 square foot chapter house and has committees which cover summer construction, technology, landscaping and health and safety of the members.
The Alpha Chi Chapter Educational Foundation is a nonprofit within the chapter which raises funds for scholarships and educational upgrades to the chapter house.
The Advisory Board advises student leaders of the chapter in areas such as risk management, recruitment, finance, scholarship, etc.
All boards accept Kappa Alpha Theta members from different chapters as well as community members with specific expertise.
